Marware has introduced its new Clear Shell case for the fifth-generation iPod nano and its Accent case for the second- and third-generation iPod touch. The ClearShell is a clear, hard polycarbonate case featuring open access to all ports, controls, and the camera, as well as an included screen protector and cleaning cloth. It is available now and is priced at $25.
Like the company’s prior Accent case for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, the Accent for iPod touch is a vertical flip-style case made from glossy patent leather, offering access to the headphone jack, volume buttons, and Dock Connector port when closed, and full access to the screen and home button when opened. Other features include elastic siding on the inner pouch for a more secure fit and an included screen protector and cleaning cloth. The Marware Accent for iPod touch 2G and 3G is available now in a range of colors and sells for $30.

We were expecting camera in iPod Touch 3G but it looks like iPod Touch 4G will come with a camera , a rumor is on the net that Apple is planning a iPod Touch with a camera and it is expected to hit shelves in Spring 2010. Hands On: IPhone and IPod Touch Remote Controls
Despite the release of the 3.0 software, the Apple TV is not Apple's most capable media player. In my opinion, the Mac mini remains Apple's best AV device.
But one of the major difficulties of using any Mac connected to a TV is controlling it from the couch. If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, that job gets a whole lot easier. In this video I take you on a tour of four inexpensive applications for doing the job.

Geohot has released another cool jailbreak program Blackra1n that will allow you to jailbreak your iPhone 3GS/3G/2G on OS 3.1.2 , the same software can also be used for jailbreaking your iPod Touch 1G/2G/3G having firmware 3.1.2. iPod Touch 3G 3.1.2 jailbreak is however tethered at the moment which means you will have to connect it to your Windows PC and run Blackra1n again if you want to restart.
Its a small 600KB .exe file, that will detect your iPhone OS and will jailbreak your device
How to Jailbreak iPhone 3GS 3.1.2 with Blackra1n in Windows XP
Its a pretty straightforward jailbreak this time, you just need iTunes 9 and updated iPhone 3GS with firmware 3.1.2, now run the blackra1n.exe, it will self detect iPhone OS and click on make it rain, wait for the iPhone to restart and then go to your iPhone apps, Run blackra1n application from your iPhone and install Cydia/ICY and you are ready to roll.

Note for iPhone 3GS users: Do not upgrade to iPhone OS 3.1.2 as of now if you want the unlocking functionality, as it will upgrade your baseband.

Physics, schmysics: That’s what Apple seems to be saying when it comes to the company’s latest iPod Nanos, introduced by Steve Jobs in San Francisco.
The new Nanos are pixies just like their predecessors. The designs are identical: 3.6 inches tall, 1.5 inches wide and less than a quarter-of-an-inch thick. As before, I suspect most buyers will use the Nano mainly for music, though it can also show movies, TV shows, pictures and more.

Pong iphone case aims to reduce radiation

Pong Research has introduced its new Pong radiation-reducing case for the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS. Pong’s case uses a proprietary module to channel the iPhone’s cell phone signal and radiation through the back of the phone and away from the user’s head. According to the company, the case reduces “hotspot” radiation by 85% and overall radiation by 60%; it also features silicone construction and offers full access to all ports, controls, and the camera. Pong Research’s Pong radiation-reducing case for the iPhone 3G and 3GS will be available later this week and will sell for $60.
